Tealive, Southeast Asia’s leading lifestyle tea brand, has achieved remarkable milestones since its launch in Malaysia in 2017. With over 1,000 outlets and ambitious global expansion plans, Tealive has become a symbol of modern tea culture. Its extensive menu features milk tea, smoothies, chocolate, and coffee, appealing to a wide range of tastes worldwide. Founded by award-winning entrepreneur Bryan Loo, Tealive has grown under his leadership into a top-tier brand. Bryan has also developed Loob Holding into one of Malaysia’s largest F&B companies, supported by a passionate team known as the “Loobies.” His ventures extend to Bask Bear Coffee and other F&B concepts, reflecting a strong commitment to innovation and growth.
Tealive generates revenue through its extensive network of multi-format retail outlets, complemented by a robust mobile app and loyalty program that enhance the customer ordering experience and encourage repeat purchases. Over the years, Tealive has forged strong partnerships with major brands, including delivery aggregators like GrabFood and FoodPanda, e-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee, and key suppliers including Nestlé, Kerry Foods, Barry Callebaut, and Unilever. Renowned for its creative collaborations, Tealive has also received multiple marketing awards in recognition of its innovative campaigns.
Initial Training: Franchisees and store operators undergo a minimum of 2 weeks of training at Tealive Headquarters. This includes operational on-the-job training within Tealive outlets for up to 4 key franchisee personnel. The Franchisee Executive Team also participates in an onboarding visit to Tealive Headquarters, gaining business strategies and insights to help manage and grow their local Tealive operations effectively.
Initial Opening Support: At least 2 key Tealive international franchise personnel will assist in establishing the foundational pre-opening work. This includes:
R&D and product localization
POS and backend infrastructure development
Importation and logistics
Local vendor sourcing for equipment, hardware, and marketing materials
Support also covers training the first batch of operational staff and onboarding the local marketing team.
Marketing and Business Plan: Tealive works closely with franchisees to develop a market entry strategy and long-term business plan to ensure sustainable success. Franchisees receive comprehensive marketing support, including branding materials, training programs, and campaign guidelines. Initial site selections and business strategies are discussed and reviewed to ensure a successful Tealive brand launch in the local market.
Ideal Franchise Partner: The Tealive Master Franchisee or Area Developer should ideally possess existing F&B experience, industry knowledge, operational capabilities, resources, and capital to expand the brand in the target market. However, developers without prior F&B experience who are fully committed to building and leading a new team for the Tealive franchise will also be considered.
